Rating by category:
Felt very safe in the gated community of the hotel, but not outside the facilities.
I did not like the area directly around the hotel, not a family-friendly atmosphere on the outter street areas.
It is very near the main railway station at a very reasonable rate.
Very close to the train station and city transportation.
American breakfast, with salad and boiled egg.
Just in the red-light district, next to sex shops/casinos. (But convenient as it is located near the central station.)
In this case that the hotel was close to the Railway station on my fairly late arrival.
It's not a complaint but a remark. When walking to the hotel, night or daytime, you'll receive various offers, such as sex and drugs. It's so obvious and intrusive in the neighborhood.
It was overpriced because of the international fair.
The staff were really friendly and ready to offer advice as to what to see and where to go. It was also quite close to the train station and easy walking distance to the Römer district and other sights. Also, any queries about the rooms or anything to do with the hotel were answered quickly. The breakfast was also quite good - a good range of things to eat and good quality.
The hotel itself was quite safe - but it is situated on the edge of the red light district, and the directions you find on the hotel website are designed especially to make sure that you do not see any of the Red Light Boutiques. Plus, we are fairly certain that people were dealing drugs across the road, which caused some rather unsavoury characters to hang around outside at all times of the day and night. We personally did not feel safe leaving the hotel after dark.
Things that were good: breakfast, power outlets layout and wake-up calls. And location. Very convenient.
Very strange place, especially for a Russian. It reminds me old Soviet-style hotels of Smolensk or Oryol. Really surprising to see this in the downtown of Frankfurt.. but in those busy days I had no choice - all hotels were sold out. In general, it's minimum of confort, but the bed was too narrow, elevator goes only up to 4th floor and I had to carry my stuff to 5th via the stairs...
There was an unfriendly personnel at the reception desk.
very bad, old, not proper hotel; it was the first and the last time !
It was cheap and breakfast is okay. It's near the Frankfurt station, by foot for only 5mins or less.
Receptionist can't speak english. She can't even understand the basics. I was asking her about the wifi since I bought the 60mins voucher that costs eur3.95 That is not working. I asked for help, but instead gave me a new voucher, which I thought will be a replacement for the previous one but instead charged me another eur3.95. And you have guessed it right, wifi (mycloud) sucks. The location was in the middle of the red light district and the entrance looks a little creepy.
I like that this hotel was 10 min from main railway station and you can walk to all sightseeings by foot. Hotel staff was very kind and responsive, they speak russian and it's a big plus for russian tourists.
i didn't like the street where this hotel is situated: very loudly and afternoon and at night.
Very good value for money. Polite and unintrusive staff..Rooms cleaned promptly and withour fuss. My first choice whenever i stay in frankfurt.
private parking place, just in the centre
in the destrict of night clubs and cabarets, uncomfortable beds in the room
The hotel is situated only 4 mins walk from the main train station (the Frankfzrt am Main Hauptbahnhof). Besides, it is very easy to locate. The breakfast was on time and great. There was absolutely no noise in my room despite the hotel being in a rather busy area. There are also very many good restaurants nearby.
As fine as the breakfsat was, there were no eggs :) The elevator is also rather tiny with barely enough space for one adult and a baby on a stroller.
